Tabačka Kulturfabrik is a unique cultural centre and an open zone for art, creativity and cooperation in Kosice. Its story began in 2009 in the old “Tabačka”. The deserted premises of the former tobacco factory gained new life from Peter Radkoff and his team of colleagues from the Bona Fidecivic association. The development of this cultural and creative factory was kickstarted by a key decision by the Košice Regional Government to support the development of creative economy in the region, for which the Tabačka Kulturfabrik was the first actual project. Tabačka supports multicultural society, an open way of thinking, experimentation and creativity. It strives to provide an educational background and to develop critical thinking.
